For aspiring home owners who find their goal stubbornly elusive, newly enacted legislation providing a tax credit of as much as $7,500 for first-time home buyers might just be the opportunity of a lifetime.

The Grand Tour of Homes is one of Kentucky’s largest new homes tour. This annual event is held in September and lasts two to three weekends and is free to the public. The 2008 Tour will be on September 13-14, 20-21, & 27-28. The Grand Tour of Homes provides visitors the ability to gain information regarding trends and provides the opportunity to speak the builder.

HBAL Online Virtual Home Tours
Since 1952, members of the HBA have been opening the doors of their newly constructed homes to the public for Central Kentucky's largest home tours. Tours include the Grand Tour of Homes, Tour of Remodeled Homes, and the Showcase of Luxury Homes, Your New Homes Destination, and Parade of Homes.
Each year, more then then 100 Registered Builders/Registered Remodelers participate in home tours presented by the Home Builders Association of Lexington. These tours attract thousands of visitors and showcase new trends and give visitors the opportunity to meet the builder and ask questions.
